Clients making use of the Terminal enjoy generous facilities, reliable equipment, logistically efficient network connections and a well-trained workforce. 

Spread over an area of 57 hectares on the island of Kundzinsala, BCT is currently capable of handling some 450,000 TEUs per annum and has a total yard capacity of 5,000 ground slots. Over 500 reefer plugs are also available and are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

BCT’s quay is of 506 metre in length with an alongside depth of 12.5 metres. A 25 metre ro-ro ramp is also available at the west end of the quay allowing for simultaneous ro-ro and lo-lo operations.

The terminal is in the process of expanding the container stacking area by 29,600 square metres.
